We had a buddy of mine get his Acura TL dyno'ed yesterday. No forced induction on this one, just an intake, exhuast, underdrive pulley, and throttle body spacer.
Keep in mind this is a Land & Sea dyno which reads similar to a Mustang Dyno, about 10-15% lower than a Dyno-jet.
So in the Dyno-Jet world this would be about 240whp. Stock is around 220whp.

| It's a 2004, I think? As for induction, he's talked about it. I think he's more into putting a turbo on it if anything. There is a Supercharger kit that adds about 60hp. No turbo kit that I've heard of though so it could be a first. |

Its an 04. I'd like to say no plans at this time for forced induction but who knows, with all the FI'd guys I've been hanging around lately, :cough: Celatid :cough: a turbo may come later.
There currently is a a blower kit made by Comptech, a Honda/Acura performance part specialist outfit based out of CA I think. They went out of business a couple months ago but word has it that they'll be re-opening thier doors soon under new management. I personally don't think the 60-70whp it makes is worth the 4.5k price tag. Also, the ECU on these cars hasn't been hacked yet so tuning them is a pain...... |

that would be awesome if you go turbo in that car. deffinatly seems rediculous if you paid $4,500 for 70whp, unless is added over 100wtq, but still for that price might as well go turbo, do you life by brockport? i see a TL around my town alot, in holley. ever take the car to the track? or wanna run a cobalt? haha/ _________________ 06 Arrival Blue Cobalt SS SC w/G85 GM stage 2, new 2.8" pulley!(stage 2 pulley was 3"), 2.5" magnaflow cat-back, injen CAI, NGK BRK7Eix(gapped at .040)

Yea it would be awesome to turbo it. It would be a first for sure. But I'm gonna be parting it out soon coz I'm letting it go. I've thrown a bunch of useless $$ at it over the past year and it sucks. I live in Brighton and have never tracked the car. I'd prolly need to beef up the suspension a little before I track it. I wouldn't mind running against ya. You'd prolly win coz ur car is lighter and makes power faster customary with FI'd cars. And the 70lb sub and amp combo in my trunk doesn't help either for weight. |

what are you gonna get for you're next car? you should just take it to the track and see what it do, from what i hear those cars hook up fairly well for a fwd car, it seems like anything has got to hook up better than my car _________________ 06 Arrival Blue Cobalt SS SC w/G85 GM stage 2, new 2.8" pulley!(stage 2 pulley was 3"), 2.5" magnaflow cat-back, injen CAI, NGK BRK7Eix(gapped at .040)
